I believe in the essential power of storytelling — across mediums — to seek and create beauty in our chaotic world, to get to the deep heart of things.

My work is interdisciplinary and inspired by many fascinations: literature, theatre and film, mythology, psychology, philosophy, history, media, and culture.

For as long as I’ve lived, I’ve survived on stories and art. A childhood bookworm, my steadfast love is writing, the notable results of which are my keen grammatical prowess and an over-decade-long career in indie bookselling. But I’ve also dabbled in theatre, crafts, the visual arts — basically anywhere my curiosity takes me.

The bottom line: I love making things.

I’m a multipassionate creative embarking on the artists’ journey. I hold a B.A. in English literature from UC Riverside, and am a Los Angeles Review of Books Publishing Workshop alum.
